Who counts where
Leave a location blank and anyone may count it. Type a staff name and only that person's tablet will show it. Use the same spelling the staff types at the start.
This sends the item list, the locations, who counts where, and the open or closed setting to every tablet. Their counts are not touched.
Link to open on a staff tablet
Open this link on the tablet, add it to the home screen, and hand it over. It sets the key, fetches the item list and leaves only the Count screen - there is no Manager button on it at all. Your own link is the plain address without the ?staff part.

Who is counting
Change the PIN from 1111. Tap the button above before giving the tablet to staff - only the Count screen will be left open.
Send counts to the office
This works only when the app is opened from the website address, with sync.php sitting in the same folder. Opened from the desktop as a file, sending will fail and the count stays on the device.

Counting rules
Staff never see the rate or the value in any case. This only decides whether they see what the book says the quantity should be - keep it hidden so they count instead of copying.
